The Louisiana Assistive Technology Initiative (LATI) is part of a grant provided by the Louisiana State Department of Education, Department of Education Improvement and Assistance.

The mission of the initiative is to provide leadership and support to local education agencies and families in the development and implementation of assistive technology services that will have meaningful application in the educational, social, recreational, vocational and developmental experiences for students with disabilities.
